Privacy Policy
Majd Alfhaily built the TrophyBuddy apps as a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Majd Alfhaily and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.
If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which are accessible at TrophyBuddy unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Information Collection and Use
For a better experience, while using the Service, I may collect or process information needed to provide account sync, trophy progress, guides, stats, share links, notifications, diagnostics, and support.
If you sign in with your PlayStation Network account, the Service may process your account identifier, online id, profile details, avatar URLs, PlayStation Plus status, verification status, last online date, friends list, trophy library, earned trophy state, trophy counts, progress, and related title metadata. The app also stores authentication tokens locally so you can stay signed in.
If you use search, share links, stats, or notifications, the Service may process the search text, selected title identifiers, public share identifiers, app settings, and notification permission state needed for those features.
The iOS and Android apps use self-hosted Aptabase in release builds to record app starts and screen views, together with app version, operating system version, language/locale, event time, and a short-lived random session identifier. Analytics events do not include your PlayStation identity, advertising identifier, installation identifier, log messages, or crash reports. Events pass through the TrophyBuddy API and our proxy server. The API forwards your connection's IP address to Aptabase to estimate your country and region. The apps do not access your device's location services for analytics. The app-to-API connection uses HTTPS; the server-side analytics forwarding currently uses HTTP. TrophyBuddy does not show ads.
The website continues to use Firebase Analytics. This is separate from analytics in the mobile apps.
The app does use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

Log Data
App diagnostic logs remain on your device unless you choose to share them for support. The mobile apps do not automatically upload crash reports. Service infrastructure may process request metadata, such as IP addresses, request times, and error status, to operate and troubleshoot the API. The analytics handler omits request payloads and IP addresses from application logs. As described above, it forwards your connection's IP address to Aptabase for approximate geolocation.
Free Access
TrophyBuddy is free, including trophy guides and stats. The current app does not offer purchases or process subscription entitlements. Any subscription from an earlier version is managed by the store where it was purchased. Updating the app does not itself cancel an existing store subscription.
Notifications
On supported platforms, the app may ask for permission to send notifications about new or updated PlayStation titles in your library. You can manage notification permission in your device settings.
Cookies
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device‘s internal memory.
This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Security
I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
You can request deletion of information associated with your TrophyBuddy account by contacting support@trophybuddy.app.
